We also reccomend calling a professional to prevent voiding your warranty by trying to perform the detach and reset yourself. The first step is to turn off the AC/DC disconnect switch, verify voltage and then unplug the MC4 connectors as well as the mounting hardware. The next step would be to move the panels in a safe location for the time being until they are ready to be reinstalled.    

  • How long does it take to remove and reinstall solar panels?

    On average solar removal takes one day and the reinstallation takes another day. Depending on your project this could vary. We typically see that the longest part of the process is when Solar companies are trying to "fit" you in their schedule but don't have the resources or departments in order to do so.     Typically we store solar panels at the home in a place of the homeowners choosing. However we are able to store solar panels at our facility for an aditional cost.

  • Can I rearrange my solar panels?

    Yes this is possible, however it is not typical and might come at an additional cost

  • Do I need to be home for the removal and reinstallation of solar panels?

    No as long as we your permission to be there we will not need any access to the inside of the home. 

  • Can solar panels be repaired?
